I have long had a great interest in the sea, boats and sailing. This interest led me to apply to the Royal Swedish Naval College to train as a marine officer after I finished school.

Subsequently, the greater part of my service was spent on torpedo and patrol boats, together with periods on icebreakers and on staff duty. As a patrol boat commander, my responsibilities included reviving the, then somewhat flagging, naval ability to identify and track submarines belonging to foreign powers that were intruding into Swedish waters and taking part in any necessary pre-emptive actions, some of which created considerable media and public attention. After advanced studies at the Swedish Armed Forces Military Academy, I decided it was time to move on to new challenges.

Of the alternatives that appealed to me, I felt that the insurance industry offered the greatest potential for my development. I began at Trygg Hansa, and also worked for other insurance companies. A central theme in the assignments that I was involved with was the change and development of business operations, irrespective of whether I was in the role of line manager or project leader for major change projects.

I became increasingly interested in the issues of leadership development and business efficiency, which brought me into contact with Lots^® during the mid-90s. A couple of years ago, when considering my own future, it seemed natural, both in terms of my career and personal development, to work as a full time certified in Lots^® with Scandinavian Leadership.

I have practical experience of working with Lots^® as line manager. As working with Lots^® I have gained further experience of different types of organizations, from large and smaller companies to public authorities and non-profit organizations. As a partner in Scandinavian Leadership it feels extremely stimulating to be able to share my experience and knowledge.
