Lots^® has been continuously developed by Hans Åkerblom for over thirty years, and is being used in more than forty countries. The development process is guided by the experiences of each Lots coach^® and from the entire society.

Lots^® has taken its name from the Swedish word "lots". The "lots" is the harbor pilot who comes aboard the ship to guide it in or out of the harbor. The "lots" assists, but the captain of the ship never gives up his responsibility.

We need to remind each other and become more conscious that we all need each other to accomplish both great and small tasks.
That is why we need to inspire each other and ourselves to think and live Outside-in as well as Inside-out.
While developing our business we will at the same time develop our team.
There is often instability in balancing our thinking and acting Outside-in and Inside-out. We either let others control our work and sacrifice too much of ourselves, or we become self-centered and cease to care about others in our professional world.
When this instability continues, we end up getting caught in our own Ego trap, where we disregard the opinions and concerns of others and feel as if we have the truth and will go our own way and we may forget our customers, co-workers and partners.
